Weight gain stress- help!
Hi mommas,
I’m a first time mom and I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant and have already gained 30 pounds. I am 5’11 and weight 145 pounds at the start and am now up to 175. From my research online, it seems like 30 pounds is what you’re supposed to gain by the end of the pregnancy so I am getting very worried! I’ve been going to barre, yoga and taking walks and eating a healthy diet (but have been eating a lot more than normal since I get so hungry now) so I am not sure what to do differently. Should I be worried about complications from gaining so much weight? I have also had people in my life making negative comments about my weight gain so I am feeling all around low in confidence and just having a rough time. I am even at the point where I am wondering if I should actively work to calorie restrict but I am anxious about potential risks of that as well. Any words of wisdom would help.
Love,
a stressed momma
