Swelling or prolapse?

So I am only 3 weeks PP. My vagina is of course all out of sorts, but is starting to mend. However there definitely feels like a ball or bulge near the opening, and when I look I see it. I have a feeling it's some sort of prolapse and I am pretty upset. Someone tell me it's just swelling . It also gets pretty sore and feels worse if I'm standing. Anyone have any idea what this sounds like?

It could be a prolapse if feels worse when standing/walking but as you're only 3 weeks PP it may still be the bruising/swelling. Read up on symptoms of a prolapse after birth and see if anything else sounds familiar to you. Also don't panic as your GP will likely just tell you to do pelvic floor exercises and you'll be fine 🙂
