Is nap time no more?

Question

Guys I am on a serious struggle bus right now. My March baby is struggling with nap time so bad right now. It’s about 50/50 on if she will actually nap. I know that some kids stop napping at this point, but she just is so tired and grumpy when she doesn’t nap, not to mention that I’m 9 months pregnant and was really only surviving the day because I was able to have a 2 hour break during nap time. I literally want to cry because I don’t know how I’m going to handle a newborn when my toddler won’t nap and is just a struggle right now anyways. This has turned into more of a pity me post, but I’m just really struggling right now. 
Anyways, any thoughts or suggestions?

Continue with it or instate quiet time. Some kids go through phases before dripping it so she may nap again. Or else just still put her in her room, maybe have quiet activities in there and she has down time alone and so do you. If my girl doesn't nap, she just plays with her stuffed animals or flips through some books or plays whatever weird game in her head haha don't put toys in but instate quiet time.

My child is currently refusing to nap as well 😭 we do quiet time (he can play and read books in his room). This is how i am surviving with it.

I'm thinking it could just be a phase? But my son takes shorter naps if he doesn't get enough active time in the mornings. It's hard with the heat and also hard while super pregnant, but maybe even create an obstacle course in the living room with pillows? We played a game where he puts the pillow on the couch(leather), sits on it, and I pulled him down onto the floor where I was sitting and he landed on more pillows. Then he had to climb back up and do it again it was at least some exercise for a good ten minutes. 🤣 Or I let him jump on my bed and jump in to pillows and he loves the no more monkeys jumping on the bed song, lol.

My daughter stopped napping around two as well, but we got her to pick it back up around 3ish. She’s 4.5 now, and I think she’s just done with naps forever.
But my 2 year old is starting to really struggle with nap time now too. We cut out his pacifier a few weeks ago, and since then, it’s like he just can’t calm down without a fight 😳
I’m also 35w pregnant, so I’m losing my mind with these kids thinking they don’t need naps anymore 😂
I do try to implement “quiet time” though. They can play in their rooms or read books with the door closed until a certain time (or when I’m just ready to let them out). It doesn’t always work, but I know they need the alone time.

My son has started refusing naps! But I try to let him roll around in his crib and have quiet time for a little bit or go for a drive later… I refuse to let him drop his nap 😅 I have a 8 month old who just started crawling and I’m fucking tired and need that 30 min break when their naps overlap!

I think they take naps until like 4 or 5 years old. They do nap time at the 4 year old preschool that's attached to my school. So I doubt your toddler is done with nap time. I think its just a battle for the time being. I know it's hard since you're so pregnant, but try to stay consistent with the timing. Good luck momma and congrats on your new one!

Mine went through that also. I was around 7-8 months pregnant. We just continued doing the same routine and telling him he doesn’t have to sleep but needs to stay in his bed (quiet time). Lasted 1-2 months and now its back to normal. Just don’t give up. In my opinion they are way too young to stop napping …
