Section 8

I went to turn in section 8 application and they said the waiting list is closed and they were not accepting applications. When I asked when do they think they may start accepting them again, she kinda got hateful and said she wasn’t sure 😞

I don’t know much about section 8. But I need my own place. Does anyone know how applying for section 8 works and what to do if they aren’t accepting applications?
