Hemorrhoid removal

Anyone have a hemorrhoid cut off? -I’m assuming that’s the same as a hemorrhoidectomy? Idk. I had it done today -well technically yesterday now- and I am in PAIN. I was not prepared at all for this pain. I thought surely it could’nt get worse then what I was dealing with from the hemorrhoid because that was bad. My doctor did not prepare me for this at all 😅 any tips and tricks to surviving this? I was prescribed acetaminophen cod 3 but I feel like it has done absolutely nothing for me. I can’t get comfortable enough laying down to sleep. The only position I’m not crying in is bent over the bed but my legs are tired of staying like that. I just want to sleep it off but that’s definitely not happening
