Should I still go to the party even tho my bf doesn’t want me there?
So my bf went over to his sister house to celebrate his nieces bday. I didn’t think much of it. I was kinda waiting on my invite since he always invites me over to his sisters whenever she’s doing something and since she lives down the street from me. The whole day he didn’t ask me to come over so I just assumed it was just them and probably a small dinner. Mid afternoon my bf texts me and ask if I have any extra folding chairs. I said no and told him that my friend used to own a party rentals so I told him that I’ll ask him and drop the chairs at his sisters. I go out of my way to my friends house and drive over to his sisters to drop off the chairs. When I get there i give him the chairs and he just says thanks. One of his sisters walks out and and I go over to hug her and say hi. Then I proceeded To go and say hi to the rest of the family so I don’t seem rude. When I get to his older sisters she asked “are u staying?” And I say “oh umm idk Chris(my bf) never said anything” and she said “really I kept telling him to invite u and asked if ur coming but he just said “idk if she’s coming” I would of invited u myself but I lost your number when I got this new phone” and I said “well idk I kinda need to go home and drop something off” and she said “just come after” and I said “ok I’ll see” I walk out and my bf is standing by my car. I tell him what his sister told me and he just says “don’t come. For what? I’m just going to be playing video games with my cousin. Just don’t come” I kinda got a little hurt but I didn’t say anything.
Now idk what to do because his sister invited me but my bf doesn’t want me there. This is the first time he doesn’t want me there and says it to my face. Should I still go?
