Hairstylist is refusing to return money

Ok so I had booked this hairstylist in Atlanta for my sisters wedding next month. The appointment is for the 30th of this month. The stylist I booked is well known and has done Lil Durks gfs hair before and also a few other people on VH1, she also takes regular new clients.

The deposit on her booking site says 25$. So I booked the appointment, cash apped her the money and it was set. She confirmed it by text and said thank you. A little bit later that day I had realized that I had to reschedule the appointment a little earlier because I had to work that day. I texted her and asked her for another availability a few days before, she gave me a date & I sent her another 25$ to confirm the appointment.

Fast forward a few days later, I texted her and asked her if she offered a dying service for the hairstyle I was getting done. She replied yes and that it was an extra 100$ And had to be paid upfront. I was fine paying it as I don’t live in Atlanta and it would be too much for me to travel to her and give her the 100$ cash. I sent the 100$ with no problem and she sent me confirmation back.

A week later, she texts me saying that she has a Frontal class she has to teach and that she can’t do my hair and that the assistant would send my money back immediately. I agreed and told her it was fine and to let me know when she sent the 150$ back (the deposit and dye fee). She read the message 5 minutes later but didn’t respond.

Later that night, while I’m at dinner with a friend she texts me back saying “125$? No honey, we only owe you 25$.” I immediately started shaking and texted her back “I sent you guys 150$? What do you mean?” She replied “you wasted our time by booking the appointment for another date, that slot could’ve been for someone else. So, we only owe you 25$.”

I argued that the 100$ wasn’t apart of the deposit and was for the hairstyle that I wasn’t getting because she cancelled, she sent laughing emojis and replied “sorry love, I’m not gonna argue with you. Let me know what cash tag to send this 25$ to you.”

she’s now refusing to return any money at all. I know 150$ isn’t a lot but it’s MONEY, it’s more then 40$ and I have bills and rent to pay. I don’t even know how to proceed. I tried calling my bank but they refused to do the claim because it was sent on cash app.
