Moving out

Hi everyone. So my friend kicked me out of the house and I had to move back in with my parents for time being. She had given me something and its pretty expensive and instead of leaving it. I took it because she gave it to me. She wasn't there when I moved out and won't be for another week. Do you guys think it was wrong of me to take it or should I take it back. I'm afraid she's going to text me wanting it back but I don't want to give it back. I know this sounds stupid I just need advice
