I’d this normal? Bfs job

My bf and I have been together for 8 months and this is his first time (with me) Being a videographer for a wedding & I have not heard from him since the AM before he left.. it’s now 7pm I’m sure he’s gotten breaks but I have not heard from him. Is this normal? If your partner does this, do they at least check in with you? I have no idea if I’m going to hear from him tonight.. and to be honest I’m going to feel some type of way if he doesn’t at least tell me when he gets home..

There’s like no breaks at a wedding (I’m a photographer) it’s an all day thing. He’s prolly just really busy

Normal. Some videographers work late into the reception like 10 pm or later. It’s a long day for them and there’s really no breaks because you don’t want to miss anything. He may have a minute to scarf down food, but that’s it.

A wedding + reception is an all day thing so I wouldn’t be too skeptical, I do think he could have checking in during a bathroom break at least though

Instead of letting your feelings get hurt, I would say let it go this time and have a conversation about your feelings for next time. But in all reality, you don’t know, maybe he hasn’t gotten a break.
