Why does no one talk about the rough sleepless nights with a newborn!!!

So im a FTM. Baby is 12 days old and I wish someone would have warn me about the rough sleepless nights!!! I kept hearing oh forget your good night sleeps and I thought they were joking but no one actually sat me down and warned me on how hard and draining it is!! 
Just venting I guess!!

I find the newborn stage the easiest.  It's when they get older it gets harder

I feel like that’s all anyone talks about - no one envies the sleep schedule of a newborn. It’s tough. Hopefully you have some help to get though these first months/year.

Oh mama there is a lot that people DO NOT talk about unfortunately. But take it one day at a time. It’s okay to cry, smile, laugh and feel completely overwhelmed. Remember just as it’s rough for you it’s tough for them too. You just have to figure out what works best for you and remember IT WILL NOT BE LIKE THIS FOREVER. This will pass. Always tell yourself that

I feel like that’s what everyone talked about. We had to take shifts staying up with the baby because he wouldn’t sleep in his bassinet for the longest. Probably 2 or 3 months? He’s 7 months today and still wakes up at night and doesn’t want to go back to sleep. I’m convinced I won’t get a good nights sleep for the next 13 years lmfao 😂😭 oh well. You get used to it after a while!

It won’t last forever and before you know it, baby will sleeping longer stretches. It is hard in the beginning but I promise it gets better!

Hang in there! It gets better! We arent ft parents but it is still difficult. Hopefully you can work with your SO to take turns so you can both rest.
