Covid vaccine

Gu

I got my covid vaccine yesterday at 35 weeks. I am feeling so relieved now like a huge worry lifted off me. I have a history of very severe allergic reactions that include Steven Johnson syndrome (Google at your own risk) and anaphylaxis so was going to wait to until after baby was born to get it. Well I work in Healthcare and covid is kicking up here again pretty good which has me worried. When my now 2 year old was 2 weeks old he got rhinovirus (the common cold) and almost died so I have been panicking about what would happen if baby gets covid if the common cold almost killed my other son. I have been on the fence about getting the covid vaccine due to my allergies and pregnancy complications. I have spoken with many doctors and done a ton of research and yesterday I just spur of the moment went and got it which I'm so dang glad I did. I will mention my maternal fetal medicine specalist does not recommend J&J during pregnancy due to already being a risk group for blood clots. I got the Moderna and have had no side effects from it but a sore arm.
