has anyone ever gotten told the gender wrong?

i had my ultrasound to tell me what i am having at 14weeks1day. My baby has always measured 2 days behind so i was basically 13weeks6days.
Ultasound tech said boy, i already have 2 boys and i am really hoping its just swollen girl part 😭 Please do not judge me. I feel horrible i feel this way but i dont want to have anymore kids, this is my last pregnancy and i really wanted a daughter.

Could still be a girl . 14 wks is still too early for a u/s confirmation of gender

When they confirm at 18 or 20 weeks it's pretty definitive, but 14 weeks could definitely be wrong

I was 19 weeks and was told a girl. He’s 11 now.

My partners cousin was told all the way through her pregnancy she was having a girl and she gave birth to a boy. So yeah, they can be wrong even past 20 weeks 😂

14 weeks is pretty early to say on ultrasound, but generally if they say boy it is pretty accurate, but you can get false readings for girl as we all start out with girl looking parts until the hormones kick in to create the boy parts, which can happen as late as 23-24weeks. So as my sonographer explained, if they see boy its pretty for sure, but girl can change before 24 weeks.

I just got told at 16 weeks I’m having girl/boy twins. I hope it’s the same at 20 weeks. 😭😭

You'll have to wait until around 18-20 weeks. Or do blood work.
