SIL posted photo of daughter when I asked her not to

So, I asked everyone to stop posting photos of my daughter about a year ago. We stopped posting as well. There’s a laundry list as to why, but my MIL & SIL threw a huge fit over it. My SIL blocked me on Instagram (of which she has 100’s of photos of my daughter, many that were not taken by her of whom she is rarely around to see) and then wrote a nasty email to my husband about how “just because she wants things a certain way doesn’t mean they deserve respect”.

I truly considered estrangement from them, this being the second time after nonstop drama, overstepping boundaries and then playing the victim. But, I sucked it up for my husband and we are slowly finding our way with very limited contact. Side note: he fully agrees about his family.

Well my daughter turned 3 last week. My SIL posted a photo of her and my husband in her story. I let it go because it’s just a story and it does “disappear”, but just now I saw that she’s posted it to her story highlights!!!! So it’s on her profile permanently.

I’m done playing nice, and instead of asking her to take it down seriously considering just reporting it to Instagram and having it removed. 😑
