Getting 3 year old to take medicine...

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for any tips or suggestions on how to get a strong willed 3 year old to take medicine. He literally had a full blown out panic attack when we tried after I prepped him all afternoon, tried to let him hold the syringe and do it himself, watched Peppa pig taking medicine and all his favourite characters...ect. He is a really picky eater and won't drink juice so mixing it in juice is out of the question. I was thinking maybe mixing it in Maple Syrup and giving him pancakes for breakfast but not sure if that will work so I need back up suggestions. Any advice is much appreciated!
