If you told your partner about something that happened in your past and they got very angry or defensive about it?

Example

Girlfriend: “Past memories of my ex boyfriend haunt me because he was very abusive to me. He’ll hit me and accuse me of cheating.”

Boyfriend: “Don’t you dare say that! That’s all false accusations, I’m a guy and us men need to stick together against crazy bitches like you!”

Or another example

Boyfriend: “My last girlfriend used me for money and was verbally abusive to me.”

Girlfriend: “She used you for money? Yea right! You’re only talking bad about her because she broke up with you.”
