what are some necessary items to have before baby’s born?

due in November and need to start buying things for baby what are some things they won’t give you in baby showers that you usually always need ? drop some suggestions 💓

Aquaphor (works for diaper rash prevention, dry skin, just about anything really)
For nail clippers, I suggest getting an electric nail file (you can get one for babies in Amazon). Easier way to trim baby nails!
Nosefrida is good, however it was too big for our babies nostrils when baby was small lol. We used the oogie bear booger picker a lot!
Frida windi - kinda gross but it can help baby if they’re struggling to poop or pass gas 
Rectal and temporal thermometer
Velcro and/or zip swaddles
A few different pacifiers to see what baby likes

I think milestone cards are really cute. You can do them from 1 day old, so need them in advance really. 
Steriliser
Muslins
Breathing sensor mat 
Changing mat (one for upstairs and one for downstairs)
Blankets (lots)
Grow bags
Sling/carrier
I wouldn’t advise getting some things until you’ve got more of an idea of what the baby. Mine has really bad reflux so is limited in some ways:
Bouncer/swing
Swaddles (maybe try one, but some babies don’t like to be swaddled)
I know you haven’t asked for it, but just a couple of things I wish I knew earlier:
Look out for tongue/lip/cheek ties. They’re often missed and cause no end of issues 
Watch out for CMPA
If your child has colic/reflux, ask why. These things have a cause, it’s not normal for babies. 
Mostly, congratulations! Being a parent is the most amazing thing ever.

Cheap onesies. Newborns are poo and pee factories, so it doesn't hurt so much when you inevitably have to throw clothes out because of explosions if they were cheap.
I also swear by the Nose Frida, made getting boogers out a calm exercise instead of screaming and crying with the suction bulb.
