I live in New Jersey and while there's a lot of heavily populated areas I live in the Pine Barrens and absolutely love it. We're surrounded by trees, farmland, animals, and an amazing community of people. Its a completely different experience living out here and i definitely recommend it if you're looking for a quiet safe place to live. You just gotta look and find the right place for you. Everyone thinks New Jersey is gross and polluted but honestly most places are and where i live in NJ isn't like that all. There's so many beautiful places around here that no one knows about because you only see what's on tv. Check out Woodland township, Southampton, Tabernacle, Shamong, Chatsworth are all beautiful areas.

People knock NJ, but there are parts of Jersey that are beautiful like the farm lands! It's the garden state. Cape May is great too! You have the beaches too.
I love PA too, especially the mountains! I've always enjoyed trips to the state.
It's a toss up.
