Boyfriends mom

So we’ve been thinking about the future & staying together has been a topic. Well his mom doesn’t want him to stay with me. Reason being because we might break up but that’s life we could be married & still not work out. Anyways that was that for the time being until a little while later. We end up talking about the conversation him and his mom had about us staying together again and then his reason for not wanting us to stay together became that he doesn’t want to stay together because he doesn’t want me to have to do school online. Now present day TODAY the reason for not staying together is that he says that his mom said something about freeloading. He said that she said I’m just going to freeload if we stay together and not pay any bills. How should I feel about this ? Cause personally it makes me mad I don’t understand how she in my face in person being nice but saying shady shit in private. I also don’t understand how me and my bf had to have this conversation 3 times before he told me that. He’s always half assing shit seems like. And last I don’t understand how my bf doesn’t address anything he doesn’t say anything to his mom cause he thinks HE HAS TOO listen to her. He couldn’t even address it to me he never told me about this conversation between them until months later. I feel like it’s crazy you can let your mom say something about me and just act as if it’s fine or try to excuse it. So how do y’all think I should feel or act about it ?
