Frustration !
I applied to job A. They got back to me late and had a long hiring process. They offered to hire me as on-call. Although while they were taking a long time to get back to me, I was hired on spot with Job B. I’ve become more “loyal” and work more with Job B since I was hired more quickly and got the ball rolling. I was basically able to get 3 weeks in of work with Job B by the time I was hired with Job A. Mind you, I’m a student and both jobs know this. Job B is understanding and accommodating. Job A…I don’t know if it’s just because I don’t know them well. I feel like they expect me to have a more open availability. I’m wondering if it’ll work out with them in the end. Even if it is on-call…
