I am so emo….

Kris

Okay I’ll try to make long story short. My biological father had a daughter aka my sister 10 years ago. My sisters birth mom did drugs when she was pregnant and both my father and her mom gave her up for adoption at birth when CPD took her way. However my grandma (my dads mom) decided she would raise my sister and my grandma and grandpa Legally adopted my sister and raised her for 10 years. My grandpa passed away like a year and a half ago. And my grandma passed away this year in April from covid. My sister had to move in with our aunt since my dad gave up his parental rights to my sister when she was born and the drug situation. Anyways I’m not close with anyone from that side of the family. I usually only talked to my grandma but now I want to build a relationship with my younger sister. I’m 25 years old. And this Labor Day weekend she stayed at my house for the first time ever with me and my two toddlers. I tried my best to make her comfortable and I took her and my 4 year old daughter to the store to basically buy whatever they wanted. My sister got a large sketch book and she came back to my house and was drawing. My toddler was getting ready for bed tonight and she said “hey mommy Gabby left me a note”. I was like okay let me see and this is what it was. Idk if I should let my aunt know what I found. I honestly don’t know what Emo is and if it’s bad for a 10 year old to be Emo? I never went though that stage. I tried so hard to talk to her and get her to open up but she’s very quiet and she looks unhappy. And honestly I don’t blame her for being unhappy.

Actually I think I will let my aunt know because I think she needs to see a therapist for all the trauma she’s experienced in her life. My grandma told me a year ago that my sister was asking questions about her birth mom. Her mom hasn’t seen her since the day she was born and the day she turned a year old. Zero contact to her birth mom. And her mom has like 10 kids that she can barely take care of. Idk I just feel bad for my sister.

This was the back.
