Confused

I just started college 3 weeks ago and am 6 hours away from home. I have a bf and In 2 weeks it will be our one year. Things have been pretty hard the last few months. There has been tons of fights to the point we’re all my friends don’t like him anymore and always tell me to end things cause of how I’m treated which is fine just not always the best. But I became friends with a good group of people one which included this guy. I’ve don’t know how I would explain my feeling but like pretty much I have a crush on him he also has a gf back home. My roommate and a few of my friends said that they think he likes me. But I don’t want to lose him as a friend either. He always looks out for me and makes sure I’m safe at parties and always makes sure we get back okay. We’ve had a few deep convos about how hard a relationship is in college and He genuinely a super sweet kid. I don’t know what to do because I do love my boyfriend and can never hurt him and I also don’t know if it’s just a little crush or what. I’m just lost and don’t know what to do.
