Help. Lap surgery question

Has anyone had lap surgery to unblock a blocked tube? This is why I signed up for the surgery bc my doctor said it could help me. Now I had a pre op apt with another dr (same practice) who is doing my surgery- she says that it’s highly unlikely the tube will be opened?!?! Wtf. So she thinks it’s more exploratory surgery. Would you go through with this? Im just a mess. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to have surgery if there’s no chance it’ll even help me.

I have one tube blocked. The other isn’t blocked but I don’t ovulate from that side very often.
