Anyone know??

I’ve got a 5 month old with an ear infection, our friends prescribed him amoxicillin. I tried giving it to him and it makes him choke/gag and the he throws up.

Anyone know any tried & true tips for orally administering medicine to littles? I tried putting it back in his cheeks but it didn’t help. I tried giving it to him like .2-.3 ml at a time, tried bigger squirts. No matter what he just chokes and throws up whatever’s in his belly.

Also - does anyone know if there’s another form of amoxicillin he could get besides a liquid medicine? Of course I know it would have to be prescribed but just didn’t know if it was available in any other form.
