Why am i still loss of smell and taste?!!😰🥺😩😩😩

I wanna eat but i cant because i have loss of smell and taste so nothing is good to me right now… i have been sick with allergy cold!!! Congestion!!! For 4+ days now.. no covid i tested weekly 🙏 but ughh this is the worst what can i do to get my taste and smell back? I tried to blow my nose… doesnt work😩😩 it came back earlier today but it went away again !!!! This is horrid!! Whoever has loss of smell and taste permanently,,, i pray for u🙏i cant deal with this i need flavor

I took me 10+ days of symptoms to get a positive Covid test. The nose swans are BS. I had 3 all neg. my mouth swab. Finally showed positive for me. Go get a mouth swab if you’re worried about Covid.

Weekly testing when you have symptoms isn’t good enough test again. My neighbours had covid. The little girl tested positive first. It was 4 days after when her brother and mum tested positive even thought their symptoms were load’s worse.

So I had the same problem no covid. Take some salt and put it on your tongue all over  find out which taste buds still have. I put many different things on my tongue to see which of my taste buds I had.After I realized I still had the ability to taste salt an spicy . After 2 week I decided to put the most hottest hot sauce i had in my house on my tongue 4 days after I did that I was able to taste mint.  trust me I spent the first two weeks before I did the hot sauce everything taste like cardboard. I literally cried when I was able to taste mint again.

When my family of 6 had covid it took an average of 2 weeks for us to get it back. And when it came back it was faint and took about another week to go back to completely normal. Just wait it out, you’ll probably get it back.

Neti pot, tea with honey, lemon and ginger. And this one is going to sound weird AF but organic castor oil one drop warm it in your fingers and lube up your nostrils. It takes the inflammation down. These are the only things that have started to work for me. And I’ve been missing my taste and smell since august from Covid. Now I am able to taste a more things and my smell is coming back in more detail. Hoping detailed taste will come back next. Good luck. And consistency is key. I use the castor oil twice a day same with the tea. And neti pot but the neti pot you shouldn’t exceed use for more than two weeks at a time.
