Please tell me what you guys think thanks not going to take it personal

What do you guys think about this? I take care of my man of 10 years by waking up early preparing his lunch . Mind you I still have to go back to sleep before I wake up to go to work . My problem is trying to understand why is he so stingy with his money. For example this morning he complained about what I was wearing (pants.) I told him that I needed clothes . Let me just Say I’m not with my man for the love of money . I spoil myself and I ain’t cheap with my things . I love myself however just how I take care of my man by being a housewife cooking and taking care of the cleaning , I want to feel taken care of too . I don’t need to be spoiled every week but here and there would be nice especially if it’s needed , why not . So when he complained about my pants this morning , I told him I needed clothes . And you want to know what he said ? He said :” use your eyelash kit box that you bought “ so I bought this eyelash kit box because I’m training to be a lash tech . I thought it was very selfish for him to say that . I’m doing something for myself . I take care of him , I don’t understand what’s so hard to give back . It’s not just about receiving it’s about giving as well in order to feel appreciated. Shit, I told him the other day, let’s go grocery shopping for I can have everything prepared for thanksgiving. And you know what he said ? He said :” I don’t want to talk about this right “. I feel ashamed being in love with someone so selfish . Like why do I have to be in love with someone so stingy with their money even with food…
