Anyone else been through or going through what I’m going through??

There are some rumors going around about people saying that my son isn’t my husband’s baby because he’s light skinned and has colored eyes… these rumors are coming from our own family and it hurts because I KNOW that my husband is the father of my son.. me and my husband have been together for 9 years and married for 4 of them.. I have NEVER slept with anyone but him.. he was my first and I pray he’s my last.. my husband is mixed with black, Mexican and white… I’m black and Mexican.. our genes are just wild and I don’t see why people can’t see that even though my daughter is darker they look similar in their own way.. I just think my son took more after my side of the family and my daughter just looks more like my husband.. the big question I get is where did he get those eyes?? It’s called recessive gene people!! What would you tell family members basically questioning your character??

I would tell them if they don’t knock that shit off, they don’t need to be around you or the babies. You don’t need that drama.

That reminds me of my great grandmother and her siblings. Believe it or not they are biological siblings and have the same mother and father despite their skin tones ranging from dark brown to almost white. Genes are crazy. Ignore the haters. They have nothing better to do with their time and that’s pretty sad in itself.

My friend and her man are pale as fuckkk their baby is a dar skin Hispanic with type 4 hair texture. Doesn’t look like either of the parents. Only his grandfather on his moms side. Nobody has ever dared to question if that’s his son, his dad doesn’t and they look nothing alike! Sorry you’re dealing with people like this.

You can tell them to shut their mouths honestly. I've only ever had someone mention it to me once but I didn't hear her in time to catch it and call her out. My friend only mentioned it to me later. You can whip out the science book for the people who want to say those nasty things. My kids are full siblings. One is light skinned, blue eyes and blond hair. The other is tan, brown eyes, dark hair.

I’ve had the same thing happen just without family and friends saying all the extra stuff. My fourth baby came out darker than the rest of his brothers. He was significantly darker and still is but he still looks like the rest of them. One, it’s none of their business and just tell them if they have nothing nice to say, they don’t have to be a part of your life or your kiddos. It’s none of their business period the end.

Man I have a family member whose parents both have brown eyes, but she's got blue eyes. Genes are weird. I wouldn't even entertain them and I hope your husband isn't either.

Your family is beautiful!!! It doesn't matter what they say, as long as its not said in front of the kids & you & your husband know the truth then address it once &ignore it all the other times. People are always going to talk, good or bad....they talked about Jesus!

My husband and I both have curly hair our eldest daughter has straight hair.
My husband has dark brow eyes and olive skin, I have fair skin and green eyes. Our youngest daughter has fair skin and blue eyes genetics are weird and wonderful.
