Help with my dog! Don’t know where to post

I work 8am-5pm but my parents are retired and stay home all day. I live with them. I’m having a hard time with my dog lately. He is so needy. I love him to death but sometimes I just need a break. He is very vocal when he needs something but he’s constantly wanting something. If I sit down for a second he immediately comes to me whining and growling to get my attention (not an aggressive growl) it’s non stop and I’m overwhelmed. Even after he gets a treat he’s whining and growling again for something else. I play with him, I take him outside (we live on a farm), he goes EVERYWHERE with me except work (sometimes does go to work with me tho). I just want to relax sometimes but I feel bad that I’m not being good enough of a dog parent and then I feel guilty. It’s a daily cycle and I’m tired. Also he knows as soon as I pick up my phone. He gets extra whinny anytime I go on my phone like he just wants constant attention or maybe he knows that I call someone before we go over? He loves going places and he’s hella smart. He’s 6 years old and I’ve had him since he was 5 weeks old. Idk if he’s like this because the people took him away from his mom to early. He’s been like this since he was a puppy
