Baby boy❤️

I went in on 11•30•2021 for what I thought was going to be a normal OB appointment, I had been a tad crampy all morning but didn’t think anything of it and neither did my NP that day, saying it’s just a normal part of the end of pregnancy. I’m getting my third trimester labs done, the doctor asked me if I wanted to be checked and I said sure what’s it going to hurt? Well she looks at me and says “you have been contracting and you’re at a 4, baby is still breech”. I’m like okay they were going to just monitor me in office but they ended up sending me to L&D, I get to L&D, wait for them to hook me up to the monitors, recheck me still about a 4-5 but my cramps are there, not painful at all. The doctor comes in to check me an hour later, says we have to take you back immediately for a C-section, call your husband. Well of course, I call my husband even though we live an hour away from my hospital. I end up having to have the C-section without my husband present because there was too high of a chance that my water would break. It was so traumatizing but I am so thankful for the doctors, nurses, and anesthesiologists that I had because they comforted me during the whole process, took pictures of baby and were just all around amazing. Baby boy was born at 35+6 weighing 5lbs 3.2oz and 17 3/4 inches long. ❤️ my husband did eventually make it to the hospital though😅
