Why did you get a divorce ?

What’s the reason you got a divorce or going through one right now? How many times did you try to fix things before calling it quit? I am not going through one but I can’t lie that there were few times where I thought about it after we fight. I’m curious to see what are some common reasons divorce happen.

I was tired of being unhappy. My kids were young and so was I so I tried for the better part of 10 years to make it work. I even moved us to another country to see if that made a difference. I felt alone with him right next to me. I filed for divorce and have zero regrets 👍🏻

Ooh idk, let’s see, he could not keep a job, was constantly in trouble with the law, he wasn’t there for his baby, he was controlling, he was a narcissist, he was mentally draining and abusive, he had no respect for me, he kept me away from friends and family, he was cheating on me, he was secretly gay, he was into drugs, he was always angry. Last straw was went he left my 11 month old son in the car on a super hot summer day.

I’m getting ready to go through one my reasons are: 
Not happy 
Too much fighting 
He always calling his mommy when we have an issue 
Lack of support 
Realized I married someone who didn’t have their priorities straight 
Lack of drive to do better
Emotional abuse

Answer

He cheated and had a baby on me. There is no working through that for me. That was an instant deal-breaker.
