Has anyone enrolled there child late to school

Has anyone enrolled child late to school most schools start in August has anyone had to enroll late to a school.

For example moving to a different state or traveling and coming back to your state or homeschooling decided to enroll late etc. Lots of reasons parents enroll late

I am wondering if the child will be okay

I know a lot of parents are homeschooling and doing virtual learning but what if those parents decide to enroll can they?
