Can you test positive if your 6 days late according to your calendar ?

I am a week late from my period but my period has been a week or two behind since I’m still nursing my 16 month old and it’s been off but I have a idea of when it comes and I actually spotted last week on my exact 28 days since my last period ended and that was only once it happened and it happened again tonight but not sure if it’s my period. I’ve never spotted before pregnant or not. I also have taken two tests since then and both clearly negative. So any advice ???? I’m going crazy here, plus I’ve been queasy all week like morning sickness and it happens at night like my pregnancies before. I don’t have sore boobs though so I don’t know what to think!
