Are you a working mom or a stay at home mom?

I'm currently at SAHM with an almost 2 year old and a 2 month old but I am seriously considering going back to work. I've seen a job that I would be absolutely perfect for but I'm seriously in 2 minds. 
On one hand I want to be with my daughters and watch them grow and we are fortunate enough that my partner earns enough to support us all but then on the other hand I feel as though I need to work for my own sanity! Being a SAHM can be extremely lonely at times!
I think moms can feel bad whichever option they choose. I think some moms feel guilty for working and others feel guilty for not working 😫

SAHM who works from home and highly don’t recommend it 🙈 I would definitely say get a job where you actually leave the house. I don’t have that option unfortunately because it’s impossible to get childcare

My ex husband WOULD NOT work at all and I had to. I missed out on so much of my kids life, milestones and making memories with them. I am now remarried and like you, I have an opportunity to stay him with our baby (8 months old) I don’t take it for granted because I personally know that time flies. I suggest staying home and watching your child grow up 😭😭

I’m a working mom ten months out of the year, and a stay at home mom the other two months. I get to experience both.

SAHM and I miss working outside the home. I would go back to work but day care is expensive even when I worked at the same day care - place was taking half of my paycheck for two children. AND because I had to pump I was not making enough. That whole situation pisses me off to this day - like, I was able to pump on the clock for a limit of 20 minutes, which was unrealistic. I would pump for 15 minutes and then I still had to clean up and put the milk in the fridge - coming roughly 30+ minutes. Is was frustrating so I quit. 
Anyways, I stick with being a SAHM because now I can work towards finishing my degree. Once I get that, this momma is going back to work. ✌🏽

I’m a sahm but I take days to have for myself or nights or even if it’s 30 mins to an hour to ship by myself that reset really helps me be better at home

I work and I don’t feel guilty… I am not just a mother at the end of the day… I worked my ass off for my degree and I’m going to use it… I worked hard for the degree to have a career that pays well to have a beautiful place to call home… to be able to comfortably support myself… take family vacations… adult only vacations… and not have to worry about having scrape between paychecks… god forbid anything ever happened in my marriage or to my husband… Id still have myself and my daughter to care for… it feels good to be needed elsewhere and serve a purpose outside of being a mom and a wife… it’s really individual for everyone though

I do a mix. I stayed home for my 1st son for the 1st year. Then worked from home. Then I went into work 2-4 times a week couple hours and love love love it. I have two boys school aged.

My husband and I both work - we have 3 kids and I’m pregnant with our fourth. 
I LOVE working. My job is great, I love my kids daycare, and I feel like I need my job for my sanity. But now that I’m having a fourth… I feel like it’s selfish of me if I go back to work. 4 kids is a lot and they need me… so I’m lost on what to do this time around.
