Covid question 😬

I’ve been scouring the CDC website and I don’t know the right move in my situation. My Husband worked an entire day today with one coworker. Shortly after getting home tonight that coworker lost his sense of taste and ended up testing positive for Covid. My husband is vaccinated ( no booster ) but he was working alongside this coworker all day and rode in the car with him.

I have no idea what to do ! My husband, son and I were close to each other for about 3 hours tonight so is there any point in my husband quarantining from us?? Should my husband be separate from us? CDC says if you are fully vaccinated you should test 5-7 days after exposure and wear a mask indoors. But I have no idea what to do at home?!?

Looking for any input/ experience/ advice!
