MATERNITY LEAVE ADVICE

hey moms,

so i work for usps, as a regular we get 12 weeks paid fmla & 80 hours of annual leave each yr. which adds up to 3months & week , give or take. im trying to understand as a female who would preferably like to stay home with my child up until he or she is 12 months.

how have any you managed if you went through this? what did you do to keep money coming?

p.s not due until june 2022 & i have my own business (which i go on maternity leave for as well once my baby is here)
