C-section mamas, I have a question about the hospital bill
Hi mommies, long story short I had an emergency C-section about 5 weeks ago during which I was put under anesthesia, so I didn’t witness my daughter’s birth. I have just looked at her itemized bill from the hospital and there’s one item listed as “RESPIRATORY SERVICES-GENERAL Hc Newborn Resuscitation”. Is this standard? Did everyone else have this listed, or does this mean my baby was born not breathing and required resuscitation, and no one told me? I should probably just ask my OBGYN who delivered her, but I feel awkward calling up just to ask that. I’m seeing her in 5 days, I will ask her then. In the meantime, did anyone else see this on their bill? TIA.
