Eczema?

My 1 year old gets these dry patches of skin on her back and arm areas and some of them have been turning into scabs. I keep lotion on her and smother the spots in aquaphor and I haven’t really noticed a difference. Does it look like eczema and I need to get an over the counter cream or is it something she needs to go to the doctor for? (More pics in comments)

I use aloe directly from the plant for my daughters eczema.. nothing the doctor prescribed ever worked but aloe clears it up almost immediately

I’d send the pictures to her pediatrician they may be able to prescribe her a cream that can help

It looks like she’s scratching it and causing that. My son does the same thing. Use Cerave all over and also 1% hydrocortisone cream on those spots!

My youngest has this. Her doctor gave her an antibiotic ointment that cleared it up and we just keep Vaseline on the area to avoid it getting dried out and infected again.

My guy has eczema and he got prescribed a topical cream called Pimecrolimus. It works wonders. It cleared the nasty patches at first and now I use it whenever I see them slightly returning. It took a few days the first round and now clears overnight if I catch them quick enough.

Does she itch it? Have you looked into her diet to see if something is setting her off for example what lotion are you using? What washing powder if I was you I’d get doctors to run a few swabs first and do allergy tests 
I’ve had eczema since birth it’s now gone but I used steroids for many years and became dependent on them so I’m really big on telling mums to look at the root cause first before relying heavily on medical assistant please look into topical steroids addiction and withdrawal and also red skin syndrome before using steroids specially on a baby as their skin is so sensitive already
