Clogged milk duct???

My side that produces more milk feels tight and hurts underneath / side of my breast 😭 I only nurse never used a bottle and I don’t know what to do to help!! I’m not sure if it’s actually clogged because I don’t feel a lump it’s just warm to the touch and super painful 😩

Yes what these girls said! I had mastitis with my first and it was hell, had to get antibiotics. I just started getting it with my newborn but I was able to massage it out in hot water. Good luck!

Massage and hand express under a warm shower. I hope it’s not the start of mastitis 🤞🤞🤞 - monitor for fever and get to the doc quick if you don’t feel it moving in the right direction.

Sounds like the beginning of a clog/the area is backed up. Have you tried switching up baby's nursing position? Baby's more efficiently drain the direction their chin is pointed. You can also gently massage during feeding to encourage the area to loosen up
