Badly bruised and breastfeeding- correlation?

I’m 3 months pp and just noticed a huge, horrible-looking bruise on my leg. I know where it came from baby was choking in his sleep on his saliva (he does that a lot) and I jumped out of bed and hit my leg, but I didn’t think I had hit it that badly. I’ve never had such a bad bruise before. Yes I am slightly anemic but have been taking iron since I was pregnant and still take it every night. I’m also breastfeeding, does anyone think that could have a correlation? Is this happening to anyone else because Jeez it’s scary
