Oral on the first date?

Hi guys. So I have a question. I don’t know if any of you have done this or know someone who has but I hung out with a guy for the first time. Made it known I wasn’t going to have sex and that’s not what I wanted. He knew this and still wanted to proceed so we did. We watched a couple movies and he wasn’t pushy. He was sweet and just normal. We started to cuddle and kiss and it was sweet but then I honestly wanted to give him oral and so I did. He didn’t ask but of course he let me. He said it was the best he’d ever had. It was super late so he let me stay over and in the morning we just spent the morning and early afternoon together and I left. He texted me right after and seemed like he wanted to see me again. He even gave me his hoodie which idk if that means anything. It’s been two days and honestly my friends have been giving me advice about how long I should wait to text him and this and that which I have been listening too but I just wanna know if I didn’t ruin the whole situation by doing that? I know people do alot more, but I was just so worried I ruined it? My guy friend says I didn’t but I need to play it right. Do you guys think I ruined it by giving him oral?
