Boyfriend doesn’t want kids yet so why does he want me off birth controll?

My boyfriend keeps asking me when I’m getting off my IUD. He has mentioned it a lot of times, for example today I told him it’s been almost a year since I’ve had it and he said “I thought you were getting it removed.” I have a deep fear I’m going to get pregnant. He keeps saying I won’t get pregnant but I get so scared since accidents can happen. And if he doesn’t want kids yet why does he keep pressuring me?

That means YOU are not ready. Don’t remove the IUD. 
I dunno how long y’all have been together but if it hasn’t been that long, do yourself a favour and don’t end up a single mother. 
Keep the IUD until you are ready to start a FAMILY. Not just “get pregnant” but ready to give up your life as you know it to raise children. And put them first every day.

This particular example of pressure just sounds like the only response he can give that sounds like he is listening when you speak… idk it would have been rude for him to not respond and I think if he heard you mention you were getting it removed before it’s just a sensible response… 
Now I can only comment on this particular example because that’s what I’m given , but to me.. based on this alone it really just feels like small talk since you brought it up
