First Relationship to Marriage?

Question

Has anyone ever had their first ever relationship turn into a marriage? And how fruitful was it? 
My bf has never had a relationship. He’s dated but nothing ever progressed past 2 months of dating. So he’s 25 and I’m his first girlfriend. We are 6 months into our relationship and still getting to know one another. We have similar goals and definitely see marriage in general in our future. 
My question is has anyone ever had just one relationship that then led to marriage. Have you only dated your now husband etc? 
I have a lot of anxiety from my past two relationships. My very first relationship hit the worse. My ex and I were together for 4 years and he broke up with me because we were “different” and because I wanted marriage and he did. Plus he wanted to explore his dating options as we were each other’s first everything (relationship, sex etc) I was all in and definitely saw myself marrying my ex and knew he was the only one so when he told me he wanted to explore his options I didn’t know how to feel. 
Now I’m 100% over him and so so so happy I’ve met my current bf! But I often get anxious that he’d just leave me because he wants to explore his options….I know me as a person, when I find something get there’s nothing and no one else in sight that can catch my eye over my bf. But I quickly realized that’s not how life works for everyone…
So I’m curious if people have long lasting relationship with their “first”. 
Love to hear stories or any advice to subside my anxiety too!

I was my husband's first girlfriend, the first girl he brought home to meet his parents. He had fooled around with girls before but not really dated

My husband went on dates with a few different women and some he went on multiple dates but never got serious with anyone except me. We met on a blind date and were exclusive within 3 weeks. Talked about marriage about 3 -4 months in and he proposed on our 6th month dating anniversary. We got married 4 months later (about 10 months after we met). In April we will have been happily married for 8 years 😊 I did date 2 guys seriously but not very long (one was for about 3 years and the other was about a year). We got married at 21 and 23. 0 regrets about any of it!

I started the "dating scene" after I was already an adult. Nothing ever came of those dates. One lasted almost 2 months but still would hardly call it a relationship. 
Then I met my husband at 23. My first boyfriend. He had been in relationships before me. He was/is the first person I ever loved. We have different experiences in life and relationships but it has not changed anything. Going on 10 years together this year and 6 years married.

My brother, my sister, and myself all married our first serious partners and all have been happy marriages. My husband had never dated anyone longer than 6 months either. When it's right, it's right.

My husband is my first real relationship as an adult. I had a boyfriend in high school for 3 years. So my husband and I met and got married about 7 months later. We’ve been married for 21 years.

Well, my husband was my first PROPER relationship. I had a "boyfriend" when I was 14 who I didn't like at all, my friends convinced me to go out with him seeing that I was moving away at the end of the year. We "dated" for like two months.
I had like three hookups that I didn't really care for and then I met my husband when I was 16. And we've been together ever since - 18 years. Almost 19.

So my husband was not necessarily my first relationship ever, but the first I consider a "real" serious relationship, maybe similar to what you're describing for your bf. I had "relationships" when I was too young for it to be serious and I dated a couple other guys shortly before him but those didn't last too long or get too serious. I've been with my husband for 9 years now and I am very happy to be sharing life with him. I think its great that I experienced so much with him and not with others before him and we have really built ourselves and our relationship and our lives over the time we've been together and nobody could ever take that place. 
I think it really just depends on the person. For some, it's important to "experiment" or "explore" before settling down and for some its not. For some its much more important and meaningful to experience it all with just the one person. Id just try to have an open conversation with your bf about it if you're worried. See if you two are on the same page about long term and marriage. Its hard, but try not to compare him to your ex that left you to explore other options because he's a different person ❤
