Spotting

I’ve had my kyleena IUD for about 3-4 months now and my last period was super weird. It was like i was spotting with severe cramps and other normal period symptoms, but not heavy enough for me to use a tampon. I have now been spotting, some days heavier than others, for probably 20 days straight. Is this normal in beginning months of having an IUD? I spotted for a little after getting it inserted too. But it’s definitely annoying bleeding everyday and ruining so many pairs of underwear
