Ovulating on birth control pills??

So I'm on Junel 24 FE and have been taking it for 2 weeks now. Well 2 days ago I had lots of ewcf and light pink spotting only when I wiped. It only lasted a day and a half. Could that have been ovulation? Next period in about 12 days, so it would have been around the normal time of ovulation. It hasn't happened since. I take it every day at 830am but I also know spotting is pretty normal when you first start the pill. Has this happened to anyone else? I did have sex the day before it started but my doctor told me the pill would be effective immediately because I started when I was on my period. If you experienced this, did you end up pregnant?
