No hb on Doppler ??

Question

I have been trying to find the heartbeat on my home Doppler for two weeks and I’m 9 weeks 4 days…I have absolutely not been able to find a heartbeat. At this point I’m convinced it’s another mm.

Yes too early. My nurse didn't use it on me until I was 12 weeks and even she struggled then. After 16 weeks she was able to find the heartbeat easily

I was also advised against it, but I didn’t listen. I DID look up a lot of YouTube videos that matched the week I was in, I googled uterus size by week to see where I should focus the probe, and gave myself some grace. I found the heartbeat at 9 or 10 weeks. It took some time. I didn’t find it right away, so I gave myself a time limit, then I would take a break- eat a snack, drink a cold drink. And try again. I also tried with both an empty and full bladder to see if that mattered. (For the record, 20 minutes after eating with an empty bladder worked best for me.) I suggest looking up some videos, but also knowing that it could just be too early. Doppler a can cause more anxiety than they’re worth.

My doctor didn’t start doing heartbeat i’d say until 13-16 weeks… I have anterior placenta as well so always hard to hear and faint until baby got bigger. 
My doctor also advised me not to use Doppler at home as they cause a level of undue stress as sometimes we don’t know what we’re doing meaning you’ll mistaken heartbeats for other sounds or placenta placement can mask heartbeat making it hard to find until late etc.

This is why it’s not recommended for moms to use one or attempt to use one before at least the end of the first trimester. 
Don’t think the worst. First off, you aren’t trained to use it. You may not be doing it in the right area. 
I wanna encourage you, as hard as it will be, to not try again until your doctors appointment. You’re only gonna cause yourself to worry more and that won’t do a developing baby any good either
