Me or His Brother(s)?
Hi all! I’ve really been going back and forth on this one. My fiancé will be getting a degree this coming May, but his college is restricting guest tickets to only 4 per student. The problem is that his immediate family consists of his 2 parents and he has 2 brothers, which is 4 people. He plays basketball and attends college far from his hometown, and neither of his brothers have made an effort to attend any of his games or his senior night in these past 3 years. Whereas I, a graduate student and employee in another state have consistently taken trips just to support and be there for him. Regardless, he’s automatically assumed his 4 tickets should go to his family (which I assumed I was part of, but I guess not). Being honest, I really just wanted him to offer me the ticket, and I would have surely told him to have his brother(s) go over me. It’s not like we all can’t go out there, it’s just attending the actual ceremony. Anyway, who do you think he should have prioritized, me or should his siblings come first in this situation?
