My brother in law hates me and always seems to point out how i look, always making remarks saying how fat I am or that I need to join weight watchers, I know since having my kids I don't look the same but why does he say those things like why does he care how I look, I don't know why he feels the need to point it out

He sounds like a generally nasty human being who lacks common sense and decorum. He continues becuase no one confronts him about his poor behavior. Your husband should intervene and speak to him. If he won't, you should absolutley confront him. With issues like these it's better to "be better" than the offender. Don't scream and curse and be combative...instead, when he makes his commentary, look at him without reaction and ask him why he feels it necessary to say such things.
