Shooting right outside our apartment

Usually theirs shootings in our area but never as close as it was lastnight . It was literally right outside our door . 2 random men ran right through our building shooting at each other . It’s given me so much anxiety. I’m currently 37w pregnant and have a 2 yr old . It was behind scary being so close to something like that . I was so scared to go to sleep lastnight thinking something would happen again . It’s been all I’ve been able to think about . All this gun violence is just ridiculous. I’ve seen so many recent news articles of children getting hit by stray bullets it’s frightening . It’s a terrible thing to not even feel safe in your own home . I feel like I’m always on edge . My bf has practically forgotten about the whole situation but I just can’t . I’m at the point of wanting to break our lease and move but I’m not even sure if that’d be an option or something we’d be able to do without having to pay an absurd amount of money .
