10week old refusing to nap

My baby is 10 weeks old and is refusing to nap 😭 i know he is tired, I watch for his tired cues. But he will fall asleep or be very sleepy in my arms & the MOMENT I transfer him to his crib he is wide awake. Like awake for another hour or more wide awake. I don't mind holding him for a nap here or there everyday but I also have to take care of the house, our pets, myself lol he sleeps great at night, only up 2-3x but I just cannot get him to nap and it makes the days very long 😭 when I hold him he'll sleep for an hour or so. Any advice? 🤞🏻

I want to edit to add that unfortunately he will be going to daycare in 2 weeks & I was hoping to get him used to napping in a crib because I don't think they will be able to hold him every nap while at daycare.
