I had a procedure done yesterday with anesthesia. They gave me a pain pill at 3 pm yesterday. Is it okay to have a achohol drink 24 hours later?

Actually with a lot of meds alcohol is ok chemically, like they don't interfere with each other, but using alcohol causes behaviour that can harm you or prevent you from taking the med on time or in right quantity, so that is the reason you are advised to not drink when using meds.
