Interviewing OBGYN?
Im not pregnant now, but were thinking of trying soon. I moved to a new area and will need a new OBGYN. It's sad because I love my current one, but I just can't be 1.5 hours from her like my other specialists.
Im trying to think of what questions to ask her (I do require a female. I have trauma from my first miscarriage with a male OB and though its silly, I just can't do it)
*I've had 3 losses (2 of them unrelated genetic issues besides a clean genetics screening)
*I have APS- requiring lovenox
*since I was 13 I've had lupus and fibromayalgia, but I know what meds are pregnancy safe because I've had this talk with my specialist already there. He's aware of my losses and have looked at the info and it doesn't seem related to my disability.
I am wanting someone compassionate. Someone that is willing to answer my every question and not be too annoyed with possible panicked calls or texts at random times. At least until I reach my last gestational milestone. If I make it through my 13 week ultrasound, I believe I'll probably calm down.
Im worrying about the right questions to ask them to get the best care. Locally I've heard complaints of the medical system as a whole during the pandemic, and I don't want a dud like with my first.
